Prepare Your Schedule
Due to the length of Creation Week, you should give yourself at least a week to prepare.

Also, remember that Labor Day is often the first Monday of Creation Week, and Grandparent's Day is the Sunday after Creation Week. Keep those in sight as you make your plans!

Prepare Your Heart
For Everyone

Prepare Your Space

- Clean/decorate key areas of your home, church, or schoolroom so that you won't be distracted by tidying during Creation Week.
- Colors: Green and yellow are the official colors of Creation Week because green represents new life and yellow represents the power of God.
- Think about what food you would like to prepare/eat during Creation Week. Check back later as we add unique Creation Week Menus.
- Get ready any materials you may need for Creation Week activities.
Prepare Your People
For Everyone
- If you have kids, they're your disciplees! Get them involved in preparing for Creation Week.
- Start talking to your students and/or church members about the upcoming holiday. Invite them to read the Bible Readings along with you.
- Talk to your friends about celebrating this new holiday with you!
